Our Heart
Reaching All People
God has called us to reach people—ALL people. With that in mind, we’re preparing our facilities to help us reach people for years to come. The Generations Project will significantly improve our guest experience and will help us better connect with each other. Kids, students, and parents will have facilities designed for the future where they can learn, grow, and invite others, and students will have a place on the same side of the street as their family. Senior adults will have a covered entrance, and accessibility will improve throughout the facility. Every generation will be affected, and we’ll be prepared to reach future generations as well.
It’s about Guests
Our guests will approach a visible front entry and immediately be in the center of our Euless Campus. The pathways to various ministry areas will be visible and easily accessed. The commons area will transform how we are able to minister to our guests and meet their needs.
It’s about Kids, Students, and Parents
This project brings families together into one connected facility with easier drop-off points. Students will have a great facility for worship, connecting, and recreation. Kids will have a secure place that makes it easier to learn—including an indoor playground.
It’s about Accessibility for Senior Adults and Others
We will have easier access to places like the Chapel with a covered drop-off for senior adults and people with disabilities. Also, we will improve the steep stairway near the east entrance and add more elevators.
It’s about Connecting
With a central commons area, we will have a place to better connect. This project removes physical barriers and reveals the many areas of ministry that happen here. We can have coffee, let kids play on an indoor playground, and connect with others on Sundays AND throughout the week.
Our Project
Building for the Future
The Generations Project is a significant renovation and construction plan. We’ll remove the current Building B (“A-Frames”) and replace it with a new facility designed primarily for kids and students. Additionally, we’ll construct a new Commons to connect our buildings, and our Preschool Ministry will get a new entrance and refreshed welcome area. We’ll improve accessibility by replacing the steep stairs near the east entrance, adding two new elevators, and refurbishing the east elevator. Once complete, our guests and members will enjoy an attractive, easy-to-navigate building, the community will find us more appealing and accessible, and families with children will be together in one facility.
Replace Building B with a Facility for Kids and Students
We will demolish Building B (the “A-Frame”) next to the Chapel and replace it with a new building designed primarily for kids and students. The building will be divided into two sections, with students in the north and grades 1-6 in the south.
New Cross City Commons
This lobby commons area will have welcoming entrances, clear sight lines to kids and adult ministries, and gathering spaces for use on Sundays and during the week. Plans include a coffee bar, natural light, and clear signage to help quickly find where to go.
New, Attractive Primary Guest Entrance
On the side of the campus facing Highway 157, a new entrance will feature large windows and a clear, single way for guests to approach the building. This will drastically improve the experience not only for our guests, but also for the thousands that pass by our facility each day.
Accessibility Improvements and Covered Entrance for Senior Adults
In addition to changes for better accessibility (additional elevators, replacing steep east stairs), a new covered entrance for senior adults will be added to the northwest corner of the building near Trojan Trail.

Help Reach the Generations
Many before us have sacrificed to help Cross City reach people. Now, it’s our turn. What is God leading you to give? Every gift matters. None of us will fund this project alone, but together, we can prepare our church to reach this and future generations.
There are many ways to give. You can give online below, you can write a check and put “Generations” in the memo line, or you can write “Generations” on any envelope. To give online, click the “Give Now” link above.
Families that give together are blessed together! Talk with your kids about the commitment you will make and encourage each member of your family to consider how they’ll participate. Watch Pastor John’s family commitment video here.
More Giving Options
After making your commitment, there are many different ways that you can give to the Lord through the Generations Project. For most, it’s a simple check or an online gift. Others choose to multiply their gifts through appreciated stock (excellent tax benefit, too), required minimum distributions (for 70.5+ or older), IRA distributions, and more. To discuss your options, contact Chris Muckleroy at chris.muckleroy@crosscity.church or at 817-267-3313.
